Damn! Why is it no one ever questions where the money comes from when the cops put on a funeral in full regalia? I'm guessing it ain't cheap to park 2,000 squad cars while paying tribute to four of our finest goons in blue who died in the line of duty while eating donuts in a coffee shop. You think maybe the criminals all took the day off while the flat foots paraded through the streets of Tacoma? Why is it whenever there are fewer cops on the street, there are fewer crimes?
These were the officers shot by the crazy gunman pardoned by former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee (Well, fuck me), whose future presidential aspirations have been placed on permanent hold as he morphs into the Repugnicant Michael Dukakis, another man who questioned the prison-industrial complex and got nowhere. Living in the binary age is a bitch.

Why is it there's never any outcry when cops spend obscene gobs of money in self-aggrandizing displays of waste and maudlin sentimentality? What if the homeless and welfare cheats and uninsured all decided to get together and march through the streets to honor some disconnected sorry ass target of opportunity that the cops routinely kill and get away with? You can bet your own sorry ass that the liberal media would be on that story like blue bottle flies on the recently evacuated rectal sphincter of an accidental shooting victim in a routine traffic stop.
Who pays for these splendid spectacles designed to keep us all quiet and respectful of the dead, even if they were eating donuts on our dime? Do they use holiday and vacation pay? Doesn't that pay also come from taxpayers?
I understand that cops from all over the world showed up to express their condolences and solidarity. Made me go back and watch The Warriors again and wonder when the victims of these well-armed assholes will wake up and realize that anarchy is much preferable to this asinine disorder.
