I've never really wondered about it, although the liberal media has spent decades beating around the bush and asking questions like: What don't Americans understand about the Constitution? and How can such passion generate so much hate? or Why can't liberals ever win?

I just read another analysis trying to determine why Americans are unable to discern between fact (God does not exist) and fiction (God loves you), and never once did the author of the op-ed piece ask why Americans are so proud of being such complete and utter ignorant sacks of shit. I can only assume the author of the piece is worried that calling a non-spade a weapon of blunt-force trauma might sail over the heads of his brain-damanged and gleefully retarded readers and inspire some ambitious lower-level operative in the Obama administration to hunt him down and round him up.
