Look out train, the kitties are coming

We have two little ones lined up. Both orphans from the same litter, they weigh 21 and 23 ounces, and the rescue group we're adopting from does not spay females until 2.5 pounds and snip the males at 2 pounds, so it looks like another two or three weeks before we have them home.

I had no memory card for the Pentax and the Coolpix is not designed to deal with the motion of kittens in low light situations, so these pictures are the not the best.

They have only official names at this point so that the paper work can be processed. The gray tabby is Kismet, and the brown tabby is Brown Leopard. Eventually they will tell us who they really are.

Kismet is better at sitting still long enough to have a bad camera catch her clearly. Brown Leopard, not so much.

The house has been absent of cat noises and odors and incredible visions entirely too long.

Look. Kittens.
