Plumes of oil! Doesn't that sound great? Sort of peacocky and undeniably green? I did some rough calculations on one of the mid-sea clouds of chemically dispersed collateral damage of finger-pointing time (it feels so good with tequila and lime), and even if the 10 mile by 4 mile by 300 foot thick slog of BP's failure to perform is only 30 percent oil, this single hidden stain consists of approximately 750,751,691,429 U.S. gallons of non-cooking oil, or slightly more than the Exxon Valdes pooped out by an order of roughly 70,000.
Way to go, oil industry! You've apparently put the record out of reach for this extinction cycle.
Way to go, liberal media, for keeping things in skewed perspective.
