The only thing I use Flash for is watching porn, which is where Flash gets its incredible Web statistics of market penetration, all puns intended. I don't care what platform you're running, Flash is likely behind sluggish performance, system hangs, and overall inability to achieve climax in the privacy of your own cubicle.
Which is why I find the outrage by the allegedly expert technical media whores over Apple's refusal to bend over or kneel down before a media titan whose name invokes a primitive culture built upon mud, dung, and straw. Fuck Adobe, and fuck Flash. What do I lose by sticking with the Apple platform and eschewing the mud wumps? The sites I normally visit for information that matters support Quicktime and Windows Media. Even You Tube doesn't kowtow to the pathetic acquisition whores at Adobe.
I haven't bought an iPad yet because I know the price will drop on the WiFi model shortly after the 3G model appears, at which point I will probably buy one of each. Why? Because Apple always delivers products that I can use out of the box without having to suck cock and say I like it. If some company asked to carpet munch in exchange for shoddy performance, I'm sure you and Ellen Degenerate would jump as the damp spot.

Of course not. I realize that media whores have their needs and desires, and who am I to poo-poo their professionalism? They've poked and stroked until their wrists got numb doing the hard work they do, and they shouldn't have to regret the pathetic decision they made to do the kind of work that their parents warned them about.
On the other hand, Adobe recently had the poor taste to suggest that Apple's sane decision to let Flash technology die the spurting death it deserves, hoping I guess that some regulatory body will force sane people to drink the Flash Koolaid. I think it is time to take the entire Adobe management group and lay the assholes on the tarmac in Iraq and use they as speed bumps.
I guess the fairness doctrine requires me to mention at this point that I don't invest in any of the shit that passes for innovation in the nation of miserable fucks (NOMF™), except in the form of mutual funds, many of which actually help support truly forward thinking groups like al Qaeda and the Hale Bopp Distortium.
